Wow Chinese can sprint? New hope for the future

How is China winning sprint races?

Consistent organised training with money pumped into the sport. Advisers like Micheal Johnson also help but comes at a price…

Remember once upon a time it was taken as fact that black people could not run long distances. Now look at the East Africans.

The Marques of Queensbury never envisaged that black men would dominate the sport of boxing when he invented the rules of boxing.

Money talks…

why are you so suprised about the chinese sprinters winning races???

There was a documentary on bbc about chinese preperations for 08. They have spent more than any country last 4 years.
Some of their facilities are incredible, the people are poor and the kids have nothing to do so they all go to these performance centres for free. Communism not so bad if you an athlete eh  The women especially are impressive, they must have serious sexual frustation to train like they do.

I would love to see what China’s facilties look like. Would love to see some of their training material.

Anyone like to share some info:

in one of my previous meetings in taiwan we had notes about budget comparisions, basically the day china were awarded the games it committed a 8 year training budget for its athletes that outstrips what sydney spent on consruction of its village and stadium.

most of the workers have no money are self sufficient and a good paying job earns therm Aus$300 a month. but most do not care this will be their crowning glory and moment to “save face” in front of the rest of world which is high priority in Asia…
