Rome 14 July

Actually i wasn’t in that way of thinking during the last couple of month. Then main problem i had was to make the self confidence back to him and patiently wait that he recover health after the infection.

Confidence come from results training and at competition.

The first set of competition after the infection was 10.33, 10.19 and 10.23 (28 May-9 June), i think he was in a 10.15 shape without the weather and mistakes he did.
The second set was 10.08w, 10.09 and 10.12 (3-14 July), and i think he was in 10.05 shape there without the start problem in Roma.
I know where he was, where he is now and where he will be when he will have fully recovered his abilities.
Patience is the key.

I know you can only make what you believe are the right decisions at the time and we are always learning, but given the health problems and how his race performances have impacted on his confidence, if you could wind the clock back would you follow the same plan or would you skip some races or let Olu be more prepared?

If i could wind the clock back i would go back to before the insect bite and send him to Nigeria a day later.

Can you clarify for me who it is that you coach?
