Just wondering if anyone here has any ideas about drills to do to improve reaction time.
I recently ran a 60m at UW invitational and was blown away running 7.22 . Thing is that time isnt all that bad for me as my pb is 7.19 but i noticed that just in the first 10m i was getting killed, my 60m is brutal compared to my 100 and 200 (10.79, 21.69) and I was just wondering if anyone had pointers for reaction and quickness out of the blocks. cheers.
One thing some sprinters often do(that they should not)is to concentrate on the gun rather than their movement/action out of the blocks(as CF has pointed out in the past) which will slow reaction.
Oh I misunderstood your previous question, but the guy in the video is not me its just a kid that ran 11.0 100m and 6.9 60m compared to canspeed’s 10.79 and 7.19 to emphasize the importance of black clearance.
