Charlie, on page 101 of CFTS, you write that a 30m time of 3.85 is projected to a 9.95 100m time.
Is it really possible to predict one’s 100m time from one’s 30m time? I assume that your extrapolation is only applicable if adequate speed endurance qualities are in place. If this is so, would the formula be to add 6.10 seconds to the 30m time to get the projected 100m time?
Thanks.
The 30m split time only indicates a 100m time when you know the 60m times as well. I was referring to already known split times.
