Need help with making an offseason plan

Ahh, that makes sense you guys. As a distance runner, I am already a slow runner anyway. My 5K time is around 24-25 minutes. I specialize in sprinting. However, I still enjoy doing and participating in XC since it is exciting.

I’m not gonna put any XC 5K training into my program then. I will just train for sprinting. Yes or No?

Concentrate on what you wanna do!

As Maris says, concentrate on what is important to you.

For sure guys, I appreciate the advice from you guys. I’m gonna make sure I do that.

As soon as school finishes around June, I go to work hahaha. I have until December until indoor track begins and the REAL SEASON starts. XC is just going to be conditioning for me.

I was thinking about joining the football team and go out for Cornerback or Safety but it wasn’t worth. Practices are from 8 AM - 1 PM all summer. I’d rather be working and making my money instead with those hours (more like 9-5 haha). And then I’ll have time left over to hit up the track and go training after work, the way I think of it.

The team was 9-1 last season and all the seniors are going to leave so there are going to be A LOT of open roster spots. But in my opinion, I have that desire in me to do it, but I don’t want to because it’s summer, and I’d rather be working and making money instead.

8-1AM practices aren’t anything bro, try 7-8 position meetings,8-11 am practice, afternoon weights 3-4, position meetings 4-5, PM practice 5:15-7:30pm… Those 8-1AM practice days aren’t too tough sounding now are they?

Haha it ain’t tough compared to yours. I bet you don’t even have time to work!!
