This winter I was diagnosed with tendonitis in my left knee. It didn’t hurt when I was walking, sitting, etc.; but it really really burned and limited my range of motion when I was running.
I went to physical therapy for a while and got better - no problems for a few months until…
last Monday, when I was deadlifting and felt something strain in the knee. I didn’t think too much of it at the time and I finished out the set and did 1700m of tempo the next day. Near the end of that workout I noticed a serious loss of form, though without much pain.
Since that point, there’s been a constant pain and tightness in the knee when I’m at rest and walking. I’ve done a tiny bit of running and it’s mostly painless, generally feeling much better than it does when I’m NOT running. I haven’t pushed it very much though.
I can’t get a doctor’s appointment for another 2 weeks, anyone care to make a spot diagnosis? Is it just the same thing or does the different times it hurt mean something?
