WTF happened here? I did anyone see this race. Did they drop the stick?
I just watched it. Powell pulled up. He was running anchor. He was behind US and maybe even or so with Trinidad & Tobago and somebody else.
He only lasted maybe 20 or 30 meters.
I didn’t TIVO it or anything, so I can’t go back and improve my story.
Yeah I saw Powell pull up but the announcer went on about the race as if Jamaica gave it their all and we killed them…
Any word on what happened?
Yea, Powell pulled up really quickly. He kind of looked like he was limping a little bit when he was leaving the stadium too. Didn’t seem to be in too much pain though. He was behind the US as MSO said.
Looking at KK’s post, it looks he may have had a ankle injury. The turns at Penn are huge. I could see how it would be a problem for Powell if he has an ankle issue…
