Is this an acceptable Post Workout Drink?

I don’t have access to lots of fancy things, so is a serving of whey protein mixed with a little bit of sucrose (table sugar) a pretty good post workout drink?

Buy dextrose. Sucrose has fructose which won’t go to refill muscle glycogen.

Brewers sugar contains dextrose and maltodextin in a 3:2 ratio. Don’t know about the states but in Aus it cost 99c a kg.
