How I found these forums

I’ve been to a lot of online forums, and I currently read 3 about training on a regular basis.

One day I was in the library browsing the online catalogue for books about training, and I found one called “Training For Speed” by Charlie Francis. Then I searched for other books by this author and found we also have a copy of “Speed Trap: Inside The Biggest Scandel In Olympic History.” Now I remembered who Francis was, so I searched for him on the internet and found charliefrancis.com, and thats how I found these forums

BTW, has anyone here read “Speed Trap”? I haven’t and would like a review of it, as I might have some time to read it coming up.

Tarheel,
Reading Speed Trap is really a prerequisite for getting the most out of this forum, as a lot of the discussion assumes familiarity with Charlie’s caoching history and methods.

BTW, has anyone here read “Speed Trap”?

I think your question should be, “Has anyone not read Speed Trap?” Because I’m sure there are numerous people on this forum who are onto their 10th time reading through Speed Trap. Others can recite entire paragraphs from memory.

“Once you start reading it, you won’t be able to put it down,” is the most common comment I hear.

Speed Trap is must read - damn good one to. I couldn’t put it down (if you can put down an e-book)

Reading the book once isn’t enough. You don’t need to read 60 times like Clemson though.

Good luck reading it

Have read it a lot, by reading it, like flash said before you will have a better understanding in the forum.
