Help....

Just wanted to say…I’ve been doing weights for a year and a half, and I wanted to know…would it be necessary to do bicep curls and tricep curls to ensure everything is in proportion, because right now, my chest, shoulders and legs look pretty big, but my arms look slim…would it be wise to do bicep curls?

Thanks

Honestly, they probably won’t help you much performance-wise, but chicks dig big arms.

Also, if you need more justification than that, larger arms may provide a psychological edge in that they may intimidate your opponents. The question is are you willing to add a little extra weight in order to look and perhaps feel a little better.

Personally, I do bicep curls and tricep extensions because big arms look cool, functional or not.

i dont see a problem with adding curls and ext once a week to ur bb circuits.

If you don’t do them already, why not include some back work in your program? These will both work the muscles of the upper and middle back as well as the biceps depending upon the exercises you choose-various pull-ups/chin-ups(or pulldowns) along with db/bb rows.

if you are doing bp then you will be developing your tri’s. wouldn’t it be a good idea to do curls to maintain a balance in the arms to protect the elbow joint from injury??

depends what you are training for - to me strong triceps = big bench…

there is always this argument over wasting time doing arm weights vs the benefit of doing them to help your lifts…

hm…
thanks guys, looks like I’ll take PIONEERS option into consideration. I’ll do chin ups with my palms facing me and that should work my biceps out.
