Greene for Millrose

NEW YORK, Jan 23 AFP - Maurice Greene, an Olympic and three-time world 100m champion, and Gail Devers, a two-time Olympic 100m champion, will compete here next week in the 100th Millrose Games.
The Millrose field also includes 2004 Olympic women’s pole vault champion Yelena Isinbayeva of Russia, Kenyan-born US runner Bernard Lagat, a two-time Olympic medallist, and top-ranked men’s pole vaulter Steve Hooker of Australia.
Greene will race in the 60 metres, where he is the world indoor record holder at 6.39 seconds, in the February 2 event at Madison Square Garden.
The former 100m world record holder owns six of the seven fastest 60m times ever.
Devers, a three-time world indoor champion at 60m, will race in the 60m hurdles at the landmark staging of the oldest US indoor athletics meet.
The five-time Olympian is the US record holder in the 100 hurdles and 60 hurdles.
