Was wondering what had happened to Gerald Phiri. He ran 6.69 at 16 I think, back in the UKā¦ Heās got joint Zambian, UK, US citizenship. He competed for GB as a junior, looks like heās taking advantage of his US citizenship now.

When did Gerald represent GB??
I was under the impression he competed at the European Juniors but it seems he didnāt obtain a passport. If thats true then maybe thats another factor that pushed him to Texas.
I donāt think heās ever represented GB. He represented England at the British schools I remember. He posts on here, so I guess you could ask him why he went out there! I guess the facilities, coaching and a free education are a tempting offer!
