I am wondering if the generic brands of fish oil are just as good as the more exp. brands. I know you usually “get what u pay for”, so i am skeptical when some are so much cheaper than the others. For instance, I just saw Sundance fish oil (120 softgels) 1000 MG pills for $9… i was told this supplement is usually around 20$… what is everyones opinions on the generic…
Just look at the ingrediants and the breakdown of EPA, DHA, etc. Sometimes the generic brands offer the same things as the more expensive, but you’re not paying for the marketing
Generally the cheaper/generic brands won’t have such things as Vit E (which prevents oxidization) included in them, and the quality of the oil might not be as good.
Just takes a little looking around for a good balance between price and quality
The benefit to cheap fish oil is that you get 700% the RDA recommended intake of Mercury in just a few capsules.
Agree. It isn’t a great idea to go cheap on this.
Priceless!!!
