From Beijing to Armory

Aliann Pompey, a former N.C.A.A. champion at Manhattan College, won the women?s 400 meters in 51.85 seconds at the New Balance Games at the Armory track in Upper Manhattan. Clayton Parros, a senior at Seton Hall Prep, won the men?s 400 meters in 47.58. Parros and Pompey, who reached the semifinal round in the 400 while competing for Guyana at the Beijing Olympics, will run the 600 yards Friday at the Millrose Games at Madison Square Garden.
