I was at the meet-

For the first time in the last few years the weather was good.

The men’s and women’s hurdle races were incredible-

I don’t recall many 13.00 110m hurdles times ever run on US soil let alone in April!- A real treat to see the race in person.

I was in the coaches tent when Marvin Anderson dropped the 20.32-

Needless to say a variety of Division I coaches did not know who he was- they do now!

There is an incredible amount of 800m talent in the state of Iowa.
