Does Strength Training your calves lead to a better sprint performance

These were the good ole days!!!

Standing and seated raises has helped with my ankle stiffness etc. May not mean much because I have horrible lower leg strength - my wife can probably raise more weight then me.

I have to constantly pre-hab my calves cause they stay tight. Havent dont a calve raise in a few decades

Wonder what Charlie would have thought about all the isometric work being doing today, such as Alex Natera’s lower leg exercises?
