Chronic Quadircep Problems

Ever since I started track 3 years ago at 17 I have been nursing quadricep pulls more then half the time. Is there anything that may be causin this problem it always seems to start from the transition from base/ GPP training to early speedwork and then lingers around the rest of the year and into the next. Its like I cannot ever do any speedwork.

I am a 2/4 runner if that means anything.

Any thoughts??

strengthen your quadrecpets, increase the flexiblity in your quadrecepts, i know it doesn’t seem very specfic, but if you’d like more direction in the how and why, just post back and anyone would be oblidged to help you.

Make a search on the forum and then see a therapist (soft tissue).
