Oh yes I know and agree. I knew that once he got into my calf it was gonna hurt. I would feel discomfort when I rolled out my calfs and this was pre injury. The only thing that was really painful was when he worked on the calf. He told me this would be the only painful session.

When he worked every other muscle to me it felt pretty good. I have a pretty high pain tolerance, but that calf was the worst. Its been two days since and my body overall feels great. My calf is still tender, but it feels pretty damn good also.

Now the other guy who was on the table has a very low pain threshold. The ems on his back wasnt even cranked super high and he was screaming. lol, think what would happen if he went through a C francis EMS workout!

I hope it goes well Chris.

thank you. I should be good by MAy

4/27
had my second session. much less pain in calf than before. He said I had 3 knots in my in my calf that he had to get out which caused the pain. THey are all gone know which means less pain. He said the calf was much more pliable now. I took an epsolm salt bath after and I see him again next week.

Im able to sprint know I just have yet to go wide open in spikes. Probably wait till sunday or next week to do a few hard runs and test it.

workout went good. felt no pain

Waldemar used to say no blood on needles when there is acupuncture.

Never have pain with therapy.

Another reason why water can be very helpful.

I would not be testing my calf with hard run.

Have tried modified running a’s yet?

Are you doing jump rope?

Well I had no pain with the last therapy session. Nothing that would have you grip the table, felt more like a deep tissue massage.

I am able to do running A’s and I have been jumping rope.

4/28 today I had a decent workout

20x100 tempo on grass

800 rope skips. aka jump rope.

I felt better than I did yesterday running wise. THe runs were alot easier today as compared to yesterday cardio wise. no pain was felt in calf.

Had therapy two days ago 5/9. No pain at all. session went great. I have been sprinting for the last week so the calf is back at 100%

All that matters is your sprint times Chris. Don’t fret the bench unless in some imaginary land you’ve found it to be a direct corollary to your sprint times and, in principle, there’s no logically way a direct correlation can exist between the two.
