How can he slow down from 30 to 40m to 9.8 m/s? These splits are b.s. There are no marks on the track to ensure accurate splits. Just more people trying to interpolate.

I’m assuming there will be no “Official” splits for this meet, as I didn’t see the 10m marks on the track as there was in Seoul in 1988. I would have thought the Chinese would be interested in collecting an analyzing all this data, but perhaps the budget was strained enough.

PJ - So these are your splits? Did the people at HPC Sports give you credit for compiling them? Their graphic makes it look like they came up with them. Nothing worse than dickheads plagiarizing information and not giving credit where it is due.

Is a typo. Note that the Interval is given as 1.02 when it should be 0.87, 20-30m interval is wrong too given as 0.87 when it should be 0.91

Consider these people have pretty much given data and not even quoted the source, they have muddled up the numbers too !

I’m sure they didn’t steal the splits. They are contracted to do the splits for the US championships …sheesh.
