Ottawa, Canada - Athletics Canada announced a team of 27 - 17 men, 10 women - who will represent Canada at the 11th IAAF World Championships in Athletics, Osaka, Japan (25 Aug - 2 Sep).
Leading the team are 400m specialist Tyler Christopher, the reigning World Championships bronze medallist, and Perdita Felicien, the 2003 World champion in the 100m Hurdles. Five members - Dylan Armstrong, Diane Cummins, Adam Kunkel, Jim Steacy and Jessica Zelinka - recently won gold at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro.
