I have a very very tight achilles tendon ( My knees can’t even go in front of my toes -if you draw an immaginary line- when i try to “stretch” it)
I can’t even full squat without lifting my heels.
What can I do to correct this? Tried foam roller&stretching but no major improvements in months
I think this is also the reason that when I run, my toes are pointed outwards. Is this decreasing performance?
here is some very basic advice: try something like calf raises (no weight) emphasizing a slow eccentric phase with a stretch at the bottom of each rep.
DJoe, do the stretch Mortac suggested, also ice after w/o, take ibubrofen, if no improvement see sports doctor for treatment, don’t play with an achilles tendon injury, can become chronic like mine or worse.::mad:
First of all thanks for info guys. But, this is not an injury, and I have it since I know myself. Even when I was playing tennis(4 years old), the coach noticed the same thing…I’ll try and let you know though…thanks again
