22.75m and 3 world championships…
Yes this is key. Dropping weights off your back onto the floor increases bioavailable test.
I guess great minds think alot (you/davan:) ).
hurdle jumps followed by stair jumps - made it look easy…
Don’t forget purple spandex and purple shirt!
All joking aside, that is extremely impressive for his size.
Thank you for posting the video Davan.
I have the whole hour long video. The man is amazing! Plyos and more plyos as well as lots of heavy weights and special strength exercises.
I’m guessing he is a fan of the complex method. Interesting because I think it was Poliquin who mentioned that this method was very popular over in Europe for strength and power athletes.
Is it the complex method though as traditionally described though? The side lunges are pretty light and the iso calf raise/stretch (very beginning part) is obviously not high intensity.
TC–have you incorporated any of the information you took from the video into the training of your sprinters/jumpers/hurdlers?
It appeared to be a very specific version of the complex method, replicating the weighted movement in a dynamic fashion.
Complex method is awesome. I’ve always lowballed it though (4-6 wks) due to the fear put in me by Verkhoshansky’s charts.
Where can i get the full video - thanks!
Ditto! Does it have the eerie background music on the actual video?
yepp, can you upload it somewhere please?
Bump on this. What video is this from?
There is a guy here who is known to some here who swears by it and is freaky explosive.
I might do a seach on these charts - are they common enough on google?

Some interesting training ideas to say the least. Fun to watch if any member could translate at least the general ideas that would be awesome.
The one that came to mind is the “Russian study” in this article
