Lately I just run fullspeed from start to finish.

Accelerate maximally just like you would in a 100 just don’t accelerate for as long a distance. Go to just short of maximal velocity since the higher speed will be harder to control in the turn.

I like to keep a little saying in my athletes head at all starts, regardless of distance. “7 seconds of free energy”. This helps them remember to accelerate just as Pioneer described.
