100m start

Ok, so my starts have been real unconsistent these last couple meets in terms of my foot placement on my first 2-3 steps. In practice, my starts have been fine, my steps are under my body, pushing, not overstriding and not understriding but it seems as soon as the gun goes off in a race…I don’t know what I do with my feet.
Is there any cue to help keep me focused on “on your marks”?
What do you guys think about in the set position?

When the starter says set I keep my head clear of all thoughts and focus on ahead of me. As soon as the gun goes the adrenaline will kick in and move me right away. It’s not like I have a great start but above average.

Practice some more, so it becomes 2nd nature and you dont think about it so much.
